“The Spartan” Garrett Dugger Wins by TKO to retain the REBEL FIGHTER Lightweight Title

REBEL FIGHTER was the BIG SHOW in Placerville, Ca., at the El Dorado Fair Grounds on last Friday night. The crowd was extremely loud throughout the Show. All the fights had the crowd going, starting with Team Carnage’s Matt Bingaman’s victory over Clear Cut Sports’ Ray Doxie in the 1st match to the final, Team Carnage’s Garrett Dugger’s victory over UTC’s Clink Blake to retain the REBEL FIGHTER Lightweight Title.
Team Carnage’s Garrett Dugger fought a tuff fighter in Clint Blake. It wasn’t until the closing minute of the 1st round when Garrett was able to land a big Knee Strike to Blake’s face sending him to the canvas. Dugger quickly jumped on Blake landing at least four solid punches to the head before the bell rang to end the round. Blake wasn’t able to fully recover between rounds and Garrett made him pay for it. Garrett came out swinging to start the 2nd round. He landed a kick to the head and followed up with a combination that sent Blake to the mat again. Garrett quickly took his back and started to deliver pain. Referee Josh Rosenthal quickly stepped in to halt the match.
In the Semi-Main Event, Urijah Faber’s Team Alpha Male’s Walter Patterson won by TKO over a tuff show no fear Team Mixed Breed fighter Justin Farmer. In the 1st round, Patterson dropped Farmer with a  right hand, but Farmers guard was able to keep Patterson from doing much damage. In the 2nd round, Patterson dropped Farmer with a left right combination, this time Patterson mounted Farmer and worked him over to the side of the cage. Patterson landed two hard lefts to the face that stunned Farmer. Patterson quickly followed up with two left right combinations before Josh was able to stop the match.
