Dave Huckaba dances in Roseville

Tedd Williams brought his Gladiator Challenge Show to Roseville’s Placer County Fairgrounds and to Huckaba Land. Dave Huckaba fought the Champion Rick Randolph for the Gladiator Challenge Heavyweight Title, in front of a very large Huckaba Crowd, which was not going to except anything less than a Knockout. The Champ pounded on Huckaba late in the 1st round, when he was able to lie in Dave’s guard and drop elbows. But, Dave displayed a lot of heart and weathered the storm until the bell rang. In the 2nd round, Randolph charged Huckaba but Dave was able to grab him by the neck and force him to the ground. Dave let the Champ get up and then landed a big right to his face, Randolph quickly dropped to his knees. Rick tried to get up but Dave was already in good position and dropped the Champ on his back. Dave quickly moved into position and landed three hard lefts to the side of his face.  Dave let up again, and then charged Rick forcing him closer to the cage. This time when Dave mounted Rick he waited until he was able to push up to land a hard right and followed it by two even harder rights to the head forcing referee John Schoerle to stop the fight. Dave quickly went into the Huckaba Shuffle and sent the crowd into a crazy roar that didn’t stop for five minutes, chanting “Huckaba, Huckaba”. It was a fitting end to see Dave Huckaba win his crown back in his own back yard.
