Andre did everything he could to show the world he’s ready for the next step “a shot at a Title”. Andre Ward versus Edison Miranda at the Oracle was the biggest boxing card in a couple of decades in the Oakland area. Ward entering the ring with a rising 18-0 record 12 KO’s was fighting his toughest opponent to date in Edison Miranda (32-3) 28 KO’s.  Ward controlled the fight from the first round with his speed and toughness. But don’t get the wrong impression Miranda came to fight and he hit Ward with some pretty strong shots. Miranda a power puncher with one-punch KO ability dropped his hands on Ward’s grill and Ward stood the test. Ward punished Miranda on the inside with strong jolting blows and from the outside with his speed and power round after round. Edison Miranda is a world class fighter who now is just another notch on the belt of the rising star and the pride of Oakland Andre Ward.
